Trusting in God's Promises

Bible Verse: "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God." - 2 Corinthians 1:20

Devotional:

Good day, men of God. It’s Renee. Today, we’re focusing on trusting in God’s promises. 2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds us that no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ.

Start your day by reflecting on God’s promises. Spend time in prayer, thanking Him for His faithfulness and asking Him to help you trust in His promises more deeply. Remember, His promises are true and reliable.

Reflect on times when God has fulfilled His promises in your life. How did His faithfulness impact you? Write down these experiences and let them encourage you to trust in His promises today.

Throughout your day, remind yourself of God’s promises. When you feel doubt or fear, counter it with God’s truth. Speak 2 Corinthians 1:20 over yourself and let it strengthen your faith.

Consider creating a promise journal. Write down God’s promises from scripture and how they apply to your life. Use this journal as a tool to remind yourself of His faithfulness and to strengthen your trust in Him.

End your day by thanking God for His promises. Ask Him to help you continue to trust Him and to rest in His faithfulness.
