Submission as Trust

Bible Verse: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." - Proverbs 3:5

Devotional:

Hello, dear RICH sisters. It’s Renee. Today, we’re focusing on submission as an act of trust. Proverbs 3:5 calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart, which is foundational to submission.

Start your day by reflecting on areas where you struggle to trust God. Spend time in prayer, asking Him to help you trust His plans and His ways. Submission requires trusting that God’s design is good and that He knows what’s best for us.

Think about how trusting God can transform your understanding of submission. When you submit, you are placing your trust in God’s order and His timing. Write down areas where you need to trust more and ask God to strengthen your faith.

Throughout your day, practice trusting God in your actions. When you submit, remind yourself that you are trusting God’s plan. Let this trust bring you peace and confidence, knowing that He is in control.

End your day by thanking God for His faithfulness. Ask Him to help you continue to trust Him and to see submission as a beautiful expression of your faith in Him.
