Submission as Strength

Bible Verse: "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord." - Ephesians 5:22

Devotional:

Hello, beautiful sisters. It’s Renee. Today, we’re exploring submission as a source of strength, not weakness. Ephesians 5:22 tells us to submit to our husbands as we do to the Lord. This call to submission is about trust and respect.

Begin your day by asking God to help you understand submission from His perspective. Spend time in prayer, asking Him to reveal the strength and grace that come from a heart of submission. Trust that He has designed this role with your best interests in mind.

Reflect on times when you’ve submitted to God’s will. How did it bring peace and direction to your life? Write down these moments and let them remind you of the beauty and power of submission.

Throughout your day, practice seeing submission as an act of strength. When you submit, you are choosing to trust God’s plan and His order. This takes courage and confidence. Write down instances where you can practice submission and reflect on how it strengthens your relationships.

End your day by thanking God for His design of submission. Ask Him to continue to guide you and to help you embrace this strength with grace and confidence.
