Finding Strength in God

Bible Verse: "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me." - Psalm 28:7

Devotional:

Hey there, it’s Gil. Today, we’re focusing on finding strength in God. Psalm 28:7 declares that the Lord is our strength and shield. As men, you may feel the pressure to always be strong, but remember that true strength comes from God.

Start your day by acknowledging God as your source of strength. Pray and ask Him to empower you for whatever challenges you face. Trust that He hears your prayers and is ready to provide the strength you need.

Reflect on times in your life when you felt God’s strength sustaining you. Remembering these moments can encourage you and reinforce your trust in God. Write down these experiences and thank God for His faithfulness.

Throughout your day, when you feel weak or overwhelmed, pause and remind yourself of Psalm 28:7. Speak it out loud if you need to: “The Lord is my strength and my shield.” Let this truth anchor you and give you confidence.

Consider practical ways to build your strength. This could include physical activities like exercise, which can be a great stress reliever. It could also involve pursuing hobbies or activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Strengthen your body and mind in ways that align with the life God is calling you to.

End your day by thanking God for His strength. Ask Him to continue to guide and protect you as you navigate life’s challenges.
